Cardi B is not in a rush to be on stage with Nicki Minaj
A new video has surfaced showing Cardi in a very awkward interview with Marc Malkin, a reporter for Variety.
While at a red carpet event, Mr. Malkin approached the “Bodak Yellow” femcee and asked this surprising question.
He wanted to know if she would make peace with fellow rapper Nicki and take the stage with her one day.“Is there ever a chance that you and Nicki would make up and perform together,” he inquired.
A very uncomfortable Cardi did not know how to react nor what to say, so she just giggled and opened her eyes very large.
“I love your laugh, Okurrr,” the reporter eventually told the famous femcee from New York.
When did the Nicki Minaj and Cardi B feud escalate?
Nicki and the mother of one have had a long-running feud, and it escalated during Fashion Week where an altercation took place.
Cardi, who was hit with a shoe, explained why she tried to attack Minaj: “When you mention my child… all bets are fucking off,” she said at the time.
Nicki Minaj had asked Cardi B to change her ways
During a fiery episode of her Queen Radio show on Beats 1, the “Moment 4 Life” femcee slammed Cardi and revealed: “Onika Tanya Maraj has never and will never… speak ill on anyone’s child. I am not a clown. That’s clown shit. The world gave you a blessing, of a beautiful bundle of joy, and the only thing on your mind after you [gave birth was to attack people and to stop their bags… And you wanna let your publicist write something about stopping bags? Do you know what it is to sit in your room for hours and days at a time writing raps? You came into my fucking culture! I never had a DJ to play my fucking songs.”
She later added: “This is about, Get this woman some fucking help. This woman is at the best stage of her career, and she’s throwing bottles?… Who the fuck is gonna give her an intervention? You n****s don’t care until somebody’s fucking dead… This shit isn’t fucking funny. You put your hands on certain people, you going to die. Period.”
The pair had appeared to call a truce, but nothing is certain.
