Wendy Williams is filing for divorce from her husband, Kevin Hunter. They will keep working together nevertheless. Is the baby with his alleged mistress, Sharina Hudson, the reason for the split?
Wendy Williams, 54, has finally decided to file for divorce from husband Kevin Hunter, 46, but that does not mean they will stop working together.
Did the alleged mistress Sharina Hudson with a baby played a role in Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter’s divorce?
Williams filed for divorce just days after news broke that Hunter’s rumored mistress, Sharina Hudson, had given birth to their first child together.
It is claimed Hunter and Hudson had been living together for almost a decade. As the divorce process advances, Hunter is still part of The Wendy Williams Show, and he will not be leaving anytime soon.
A staff member told Hollywood Life: “The divorce process so far has been challenging for Wendy. Working with Kevin after serving him [divorce papers on] Thursday was not easy for her. She is moving forward and taking things one step at a time until they untangle this mess.”
Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter will keep working together
Williams and her soon-to-be ex-spouse co-own the production company that makes The Wendy Williams Show so they cannot easily severe their business and financial ties.
The site claimed: “Yes, he will keep working, they can’t just kick him off the show or fire him. It is not that easy since he also co-owns the production company with Wendy that produces their show and he has been Wendy’s manager for years.”
According to the employee who spoke to the media outlet, Williams, who is battling several addictions and health issues, has decided to focus on her happiness.
The site claimed: “Wendy is looking at this divorce as the next chapter in her life and found a new place to live that she loves. She really just wants a fresh start right now and is focusing on herself and her happiness.”
Critics are dragging Wendy Williams while she is down to exact revenge
While Williams has fans, she has also amassed a large group of critics because she loves to drag celebrities for their errors.
“I think she should address it and move on. You can’t expect to talk about everybody else’s business but try to hide yours🤷🏽♂️. Wendy smart! She knew to leave before the baby was born she’d have to pay spousal support,” said one person on social.
“She was bragging about that ring not coming off. Now, it’s coming off. It’s unfortunate because she’s belittled so many families to make a dollar when in-fact she’s been the “hot topic” all along,” revealed an angry critic of the TV host.
Can Williams get back on top with all of this personal drama?
